Greetings:
The 2005 SullivanArc Community Recognition Dinner Dance will be held this year at Fibber’s Restaurant at the Concord Monster Golf Course on Friday, October 7th.
This year, we have a new and very special award – the Derrick Finn Memorial Award. This award was inspired by an incredible individual who lived at SullivanArc’s Franklin St. residence and who left this earth unexpectedly and too quickly. He is missed by all who knew and loved him – friends, family, staff and co-workers.
Derrick worked diligently at perfecting his sport, power lifting, and despite his disabilities, Derrick was a true athlete – not just any athlete – a World Champion Special Olympian. But Derrick wasn’t just about his sport – he was incredibly giving and loving of all of mankind. A 10-year employee at the Fitness Factory, Derrick knew many of the members personally, and was dedicated to his job. He was an avid fundraiser, and there wasn’t a cause that he wasn’t willing to support. Derrick loved children and his family and his extended family at SullivanArc dearly.
This year, and in the years to come, SullivanArc will honor one consumer at the Community Recognition Dinner Dance with an award in Derrick’s honor. We hope you will take the time to think of the individuals that you know who have special gifts and who are inspirations to us all.
All nominations for the Derrick Finn Memorial Award are due by FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th. The winner will be presented with a special award and honored at the Community Recognition Dinner Dance.

For Sale By Owner >Finding Buyers
When a home owner tries to sell "By Owner", they commonly use two basic marketing techniques to advertise the property. They place a "For Sale" sign in the front yard and a classified ad in the local newspaper. When a seller lists their home with a professional real estate agent, however, a very sophisticated process is set in motion in order to facilitate the home sales transaction.
Real estate agents have a backlog of prospective buyers for the homes in their market. Through the Multiple Listing Service, the agent cooperates with other brokers in the area who will show your home to their prospective buyers. Professional real estate agents also combine direct mail, telephone calls, and specialized advertising techniques incorporating media such as the Internet, to reach the sales market. In this way we create activity on our listings that help them to sell quickly--and for the best price.
